MUDIK and PANTURA

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1432 H.
Minal aidzin wal faidzin. Mohon maaf lahir dan batin.
Happy Eid al-Fitr 1432 AH.
Minal aidzin wal faidzin. Sorry inwardly and outwardly

This sentence is in two or three days is always audible and written in a variety of print and electronic media. Yes ..., it is a phrase that indicates to all Muslims will be the arrival day of victory.

Eid is an activity carried out throughout the Muslim world for forgiveness for the mistakes of the past. In addition to celebrating after doing fasting. That is a worship to withstand hunger and thirst began to dawn until sunset. But the bottom line, the fasting is to restrain the passions of the deeds that lead to love the world. On the feast of Eid al-Fitr, the whole family gathered for mutual Greetings between them. In any overseas return home, which in Indonesia is known as the tradition of "homecoming" or MUDIK.

Mudik. This is a tradition rooted in Indonesian society ahead of the Eid held once a year. Urban communities located in major cities would "return home" for families and formed friendships with neighbors. Armed with high spirits, urbanites are trying to get to my hometown. Both use a landline, sea or air. Motorcycles, private cars, trains, ships and aircraft sold well at times like this. Even one month earlier, a lot of tickets already sold out. So that almost all the travelers along the transport raided last ten days of Ramadan fasting. The impact is crowded and the streets become filled with vehicles passing by. One of the busiest roads in Indonesia, or perhaps in the world today are the street widths north coast of Java, or better known by the name PANTURA.

PANTURA in the last days is the center of attention all the people of Indonesia. Because in the path of economic activity is excited within about two weeks. Starting from the capital Jakarta to the regions in the eastern region, such as West Java, Central Java and East Java. Along these lines PANTURA various facilities provided by government and private sector to help facilitate this annual tradition. Starting from the facility road infrastructure, telecommunications, security, and cultural social-economic.

"The tradition of mudik" is a traditional Muslim society in Indonesia in the face widths to return home. And it continued with the tradition of "BALIK" (back) to the city to bring the family. This dilemma often faced by the government. Because they come to town to find a better job than in the area. But in reality they have no expertise in their field. So often creates new problems social, namely unemployment. This is called the effect of urbanization. Until when will this be addressed by the government of the Republic of Indonesia ?!

Wallahu a’lam.
